A washer and dryer are available in E|1. This service is provided by our cooperation partner WeWash. Operation and billing are handled digitally via the WeWash app. A drying room is also available.

The E|1 student residence is located directly on the banks of the Neckar River – perfect for taking a break from studying or going for a walk after lectures. The highlight: you live right in the Josef Schwarz School building. This not only saves time, but also gives you a really good vibe for studying and relaxing.
The location is unbeatable: the education campus is only about 700 m away and the city center is just 1 km away – both easily accessible on foot.
There is space for 36 students in 20 modern rooms. Choose what suits you best:
- Single room: Your own retreat for focus and deep work. You share the bathroom with your immediate neighbor, which is very relaxing.
- Double room: Maximum space for you and your roommates—including your own bathroom just for you.
Our bright common rooms and study areas offer the perfect mix of group study and hangout space. The huge, fully equipped kitchen is ready for your cooking sessions.
Cost check: With the flat-rate rent, you're on the safe side. All utilities and fast WiFi are already included – full transparency, zero stress with additional payments! Washing machines and dryers (via WeWash) are available for your laundry. If you're traveling by bike, you can park it right in front of the building.

Community kitchen
In addition to the cozy common areas, our fully equipped communal kitchen awaits you on the 2nd floor. Here you will find everything you need: from modern hobs and an oven to a fridge and freezer. To keep everything tidy, each user has their own fixed place for supplies - both in the fridge and in the larder.
Bicycle parking
You have the possibility to park your bike in the parking spaces in front of the building.
